Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.  We are a family friendly congregation.  Our congregation is served by Dave Rueter, Director of Christian Eduation – Family Ministry.  Dave is the author of this blog and a ten year veteran of Youth and Family Ministry in the Lutheran Church.  Our congregation has programs for families that include Vacation Bible School, Sunday School & Kids’ Church, kids clubs for 2nd to 4th grade & 5th to 6th grade, Confirmation for 7th & 8th grade, and a High School youth ministry.  We offer additional family events through out the year to connect families with one another and help foster continuing spiritual growth in the home.  This blog is intended to provide resources for families.  If you have topics you would like to see included contact Dave at drueter@soth.org.
